Troy Village Homeowners' Association: Frequently Asked Questions

While you will have numerous questions regarding this exciting residential opportunity, these are some of the most frequently asked questions about Troy Burne Golf Club & Village.

What are the features of the Troy Burne Golf Club?
Troy Burne Golf Club is an 18-hole championship public golf course, open for daily fee and tournament play. Season passes are also available.

Among one of the finest in the Upper Midwest, Troy Burne Golf Club is PGA Tour player Tom Lehman's first signature design. "I am very excited about what we have built here at Troy Burne," remarks Tom. "I am sure it will be one of the best courses in the area, private or public." Collaborating with the internationally recognized firm of Hurdzan-Fry, they have created a championship links-style course set in the beautiful rolling hills of the St. Croix River Valley, just south of Hudson, Wisconsin.

Designed to challenge golfers of all levels, this Par 71 course encourages hole management and strategic shot-making. Large, open, bent grass fairways are lined with beautiful native prairie grasses along the 7,000 yard course. Each green has been carefully designed for multiple pin placements, while four tee boxes provide an appropriate test for all abilities.

The outward nine introduces visitors to the unique design characteristics that make Troy Burne so special. Playing through the rolling countryside, the generous fairways are framed by numerous bunkers and stadium mounding, providing excellent flow and direction from each tee box to the green. Challenging and stimulating, but not unfair, each hole is completely visible from the elevated tees.

The back nine brings a change of pace - lakes, streams, and trees are introduced to the mix of hazards waiting to swallow wayward shots. A peninsula green and bubbling burne (creek) are two highlights of this exciting nine. But no gimmicks or tricks are to be found, as the same theme of straightforward, championship golf continues.
